On May 17-20, 2009, SARM ran a series of passenger charters over the Finger Lakes and Wellsboro & Corning railroads. SARM would like to thank the folks at the Finger Lakes Railway, the Wellsboro & Corning Railroad, and the Tioga Central Railroad for a series of wonderful trips. (Page 1 of 2.)

The trip on the 17th covered the Finger Lakes from Geneva to Solvay and back. Here, the train is being switched, providing this unique view. |

Day 2, May 18th, featured a trip from Geneva west to Canadaigua and Victor, New York. Here the train is passing the station at Clifton Springs. |

At Canadaigua, passengers were given the chance to
walk around while the locomotive ran around the train.

Lunch was served at the Depot 25 Restaurant in the former NYC station at Shortsville, New York. |

On the way back from Victor, we stopped to pick up a cut of freight cars, making it a true mixed train. |
